Dave McGary (1958-2013) was among America's foremost bronze sculptors of Native American subjects, renowned for hyper-realistic detail and rigorous historical accuracy. Born in Cody, Wyoming, he studied bronze casting in Italy at sixteen and later opened his studio in New Mexico. Adopted into the Oglala Sioux as 'Big Eagle,' his monumental works stand in collections including the Smithsonian and the U.S. Capitol's National Statuary Hall.
