Zuni Needlepoint Cuff

Wide rigid cuff whose entire face is covered in roughly two hundred small pale sky-blue to aqua cabochons, nearly all free of matrix. Shapes are small rounds, teardrops and double-pointed marquise stones set in individual bezels, arranged as a central oval medallion with a sunburst of radiating rays flanked by two banded side panels. Fine twisted rope wire rails and rows of plain silver beads edge each section. Oxidized base with satin silver. Turquoise and sterling silver. One piece, held at the gallery in Santa Fe.
