Zuni Half-Moon Earrings

Pair of crescent-shaped earrings, points up and down, each set with about twelve small teardrop to oval cabochons radiating along the curve in individual bezels. Stones are bright blue with dark brown to black veining that varies in density between stones. Twisted rope wire frames the outer edge of each crescent and the inner silver surface shows light texturing. Polished silver with darker patina in the recesses. Turquoise and sterling silver. One piece, held at the gallery in Santa Fe.
