Long Navajo Pearl Necklace 30"

Long single-strand necklace of hand-formed silver beads, no stones. Roughly sixty to seventy beads alternate between larger slightly flattened spheres, each encircled by fine parallel incised seam lines, and smaller smooth disc-shaped spacers; bead size graduates down toward a simple hook-and-eye clasp. Finish is largely matte with brighter reflective high points and darker oxidation settled in the incised grooves. Sterling Silver. One piece, held at the gallery in Santa Fe.
